Privacy Policy

Really Great is a service of allUP Labs Inc. ("Really Great," "we," "us," or "our"). Before August 20, 2026, the service operated under the name allUP; this Privacy Policy covers personal information collected under both names. Content you recorded and choices you made when the service was allUP carry over, and everything in this policy, including the visibility and deletion controls, applies to that content. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information that we collect through our websites, including reallygreat.com and allup.world, our mobile applications, and any other sites or services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Services").

The short version

• You record video answers about your real work. You control who can see them.
• People hiring can search and watch answers you've made discoverable. They see your first name and your work story, with employer names abstracted, but not your last name or contact details, until you accept an introduction.
• A few honest limits: your answers play as you recorded them, so anything you say on camera is seen and heard. Your face and voice are part of every answer, so people who know you may recognize you. And answers you make discoverable can appear on public pages that search engines index.
• Our AI transcribes what you say and uses your words to match you to searches. Search and matching work from what you say, not your face, your voice, or how you look. We process video and audio only to make your recording look and sound its best and to catch fake video — never to identify you or evaluate you.
• We use content shared with us to train and improve our own models. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers.
• You can change your visibility, or delete your content or account, at any time.

Personal information we collect

Information you provide to us

• Contact and account information, such as your first and last name, email address, phone number, and password.
• Profile and work history information, such as your work experience, education, skills, photo, headline, location, and links you add. It is your choice what to include and what to make discoverable. Please do not include information you would not want a prospective employer to see.
• Interview content, including the video answers you record, the transcripts we generate from them, and any text you add. This is the core of the Services: it is the content that can be discovered by people searching, subject to your visibility settings.
• Invitations, such as the contact information of people you choose to invite to the Services.
• Payment information, if you purchase a paid feature. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
• Feedback and correspondence, such as information you provide when you contact support or respond to us.

Information we obtain from third parties

• Third-party login information. When you sign in with a third-party service (such as Google or Apple), you direct that service to send us information such as your name and email address, as controlled by that service and your settings there.
• Social media information. We maintain pages on social platforms. When you interact with those pages, the platform's own privacy policy applies to its collection of your information.

Automatic data collection

We and our service providers may automatically log information about you, your device, and your use of the Services over time, such as device data (operating system, browser type, IP address, device identifiers, general location such as city and state) and online activity data (pages viewed, time spent, navigation paths, access times, and whether you opened our emails). We collect this using cookies, local storage, and pixels. To find and fix problems — broken pages, confusing flows, failed recordings — we also use a session replay tool that captures how pages are used. Text on the page and anything you type are masked in those recordings, and your video and audio are never captured.

How we use your personal information

• To operate the Services: create and maintain your account, host and stream your answers according to your visibility settings, run searches, facilitate introductions, communicate with you about the Services, and respond to your requests.
• AI processing. We use artificial intelligence to transcribe your recordings, generate tags, summaries, and highlights from what you say, and index and match your answers to searches. Our transcription providers receive your recording and the names of the people in it, under contracts that restrict their use. We also use content and data shared with us to train and improve our own machine-learning models so the Services get better. Search and matching evaluate the words you say. Our systems also process video and audio — including to train the models that do these jobs — for two purposes only: to make you look and sound your best (framing and cropping, preview images, recording quality, transcription accuracy) and to keep the Service real (detecting synthetic or fraudulent video). We never use your face or voice to identify you, we do not create face templates or voiceprints to identify anyone, and we do not analyze faces, voices, or appearance to evaluate anyone or to infer characteristics such as age, gender, or emotions. The face-detection outputs we keep are limited to where a face appears in the frame (coordinates and quality scores); they cannot identify anyone, and we delete them when the underlying video is deleted.
• Research and development, to analyze and improve the Services and develop new features.
• Marketing, such as sending you communications about the Services by email or, if you gave us a phone number, by text message. You can opt out at any time.
• Compliance, fraud prevention, and safety: to comply with law and lawful requests, enforce our terms, and protect the rights, safety, and property of you, us, and others.
• De-identified and aggregated data. We create de-identified and aggregated data from personal information and content (for example, hiring-market statistics, and transcripts with names, contact details, and other identifying details removed). We may use, share, sell, or license it for any lawful purpose, including research and developing new products, services, and machine-learning technologies. We take reasonable measures to ensure it cannot reasonably be linked back to you, we maintain and use it only in de-identified form and commit to not attempting to re-identify it, we contractually require the same of anyone who receives it from us, and we maintain business processes that prevent inadvertent release.

How your information is shared through the Services

This section describes the marketplace itself, because it is the most important way your information moves.

• Your visibility settings control discovery. Your settings determine which of your answers can be found and by whom. You can change them at any time, including making your content private.
• What viewers see before an introduction. Anyone viewing your discoverable answers sees your first name, your answers, and the tags, summaries, and work history derived from them, with employer names abstracted. We do not display your last name or contact details before you accept an introduction.
• Introductions. When someone requests an introduction, you see who they are and what they were searching for. Contact information is exchanged only if you accept.
• Your public profile. You can have a public profile page to share your interview with anyone you choose, and you can turn it off at any time. It shows the same protected view (first name, abstracted work history), and it is designed for people you share the link with, not to be indexed by search engines. If you turn sharing off, the link stops working within about 10 minutes.
• Public search pages. Public search pages on our site may feature discoverable answers and can appear on the open web, including in search engine results, with the same protections applied.
• The limits of these protections. Your answers play as you recorded them. If you say your last name, name your employer, or share other identifying details on camera, viewers will see and hear them; we do not edit or redact what you say. Viewers also watch and hear you: your face and your voice are part of every answer, so someone who knows you, or who searches with your image, may recognize you even though we do not show your last name. Search engines and other caches may keep copies of shared pages for some time after you turn sharing off. Our protections are designed to reduce the chance that you are identified before you choose to be, but no system like this can guarantee it.

How we disclose personal information

• Searchers and their organizations, as described above and always subject to your visibility settings. Our terms forbid searchers from downloading, scraping, or keeping your content outside the Service, from sharing it beyond their hiring team, and from using it to train AI models.
• Service providers that help us operate the Services (such as hosting, video processing and transcription, AI infrastructure, analytics, email delivery, payment processing, and customer support), under contracts that restrict their use of your information.
• Affiliates: our corporate parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates, consistent with this policy.
• Recipients of de-identified data, which does not identify you, under contracts that prohibit attempting to re-identify it.
• Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, and insurers, where necessary.
• Compliance and safety: to comply with law, lawful requests, and legal process, and to protect rights, safety, and property.
• Business transfers: in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will make reasonable efforts to require the recipient to honor this policy.
• With your consent.

One thing we do not do: we do not sell your personal information to data brokers.

AI and hiring decisions

Our AI finds and summarizes; people decide. Our systems assess how relevant a member's experience is to a specific search and explain that relevance, grounded in what the member said in their interview. They do not judge anyone as good or bad in general, and no one is accepted or rejected for a job by our AI. We do not make hiring decisions. Our systems do not use race, gender, age, religion, disability, national origin, or other protected characteristics as inputs to search, matching, or ranking; they are instructed not to infer them; and appearance is not an input to anything. Everything a searcher sees about a member comes from that member: members record their own answers and control what is discoverable. We do not obtain information about members from background-check, credit, criminal-records, or other consumer-data providers, and we do not verify, supplement, or investigate what a member tells us. We are not a consumer reporting agency, and nothing we provide is a consumer report. Searchers are responsible for their own hiring decisions, for independently evaluating candidates, and for their own compliance with employment law.

Your choices

• Access or update your information in your account settings.
• Control your visibility. Your settings control which answers are discoverable and by whom.
• Delete your content or account. You can delete individual answers or your entire account at any time in your account settings or by emailing support@reallygreat.com. Deleted content is removed from search and discovery promptly and purged from backups within 30 days; statistics and de-identified data already derived from it are not re-created or recalled. Two things deletion does not undo: what our models have already learned from your content stays learned, and a person you accepted an introduction from keeps what was already shared with them, though our terms forbid them from using it outside the Service. We may retain limited records to comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and prevent fraud. Our Terms of Service describe the license you grant us in your content and exactly what survives deletion.
• Opt out of marketing using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, and for texts by replying STOP — or any other reasonable wording, like QUIT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE. You will still receive service-related messages.
• Cookies. Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies; see your browser settings.
• Do Not Track. We do not respond to "Do Not Track" or similar browser signals.

Children

The Services are for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and if we learn we have, we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes. As a rule: account, profile, and interview content stay until you delete them or your account, plus the 30-day backup window; usage and device logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted or de-identified.

International users

We are headquartered in the United States. By using the Services, you understand that your personal information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

California privacy rights

This section applies to California residents and supplements the rest of this policy.

Categories we collect (described in detail above): identifiers and account credentials (such as name, email, and password, stored in protected form); professional and employment-related information (such as work history and interview content); audio and visual information (your video answers); internet and network activity (usage and device data); general geolocation (city/state level); inferences drawn from your content for matching (such as tags and summaries); and commercial information (if you make a purchase).

Sale and sharing. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do sell and license de-identified and aggregated data, which is not personal information under California law because we take reasonable measures to ensure it cannot reasonably be linked to you, we maintain and use it only in de-identified form, we contractually prohibit anyone who receives it from attempting to re-identify it, and we maintain business processes that prohibit re-identification and prevent inadvertent release. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16 (the Services require users to be 18 or older).

Sensitive personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" right under California law.

Your rights. Subject to legal limits, you may request: to know and access the personal information we hold about you; deletion of your personal information; correction of inaccurate personal information; and to opt out of sale or sharing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

How to exercise them. Email support@reallygreat.com or use your account settings. We will verify your request using information associated with your account. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask the agent for proof of authorization and may still verify your identity directly.

Shine the Light. California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits you to request certain information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.

Other US state privacy rights

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Virginia) may have similar rights of access, deletion, correction, and opt-out of targeted advertising, and a right to appeal a refused request. Exercise them the same way: support@reallygreat.com. To appeal a decision, reply to our response and we will re-review it.

Users outside the United States

The Services are operated from the United States and offered to users in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Australia. Wherever you use the Services from, your personal information is transferred to and processed in the United States. If you are in Canada, Mexico, or Australia, you can exercise the access, correction, and deletion choices described in "Your choices" through your account settings or by emailing support@reallygreat.com.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may modify this policy at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (if we have your address) or through the Services, and update the effective date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective means the updated policy applies.
